During the Spring semester of 2012, I was lucky enough to have a graphic design internship with the Erie BayHawks. Little did I know that it was going to become much more than a normal internship. I was able to work on some of my favorite projects to date and it really allowed to find out where I could fit my talents into the world of design.
I helped create the BayHawks 5 year anniversary logo. This was also printed on t-shirts for season ticket holders, that I designed as well.
One of my favorite projects was working on the ‘Linsanity’ logo. Before Jeremy Lin became a famous player for the New York Knicks, he played for the Erie BayHawks (exactly one game). The marketing team decided to create many promotions using the ‘Lin’ name and a ‘Linsanity’ word mark.
I was tasked with creating a booklet for ‘Kids School Jam’, which is a day when the team brings in classes from local public schools. The booklet consisted of games and healthy tips for kids.
