In the Spring of 2012, I had an internship with the D-League basketball team, The Erie BayHawks. I was a part of the marketing team and really got to touch all different aspects of the business. From designing Facebook graphics to holding a camera and filming the mascot run around the arena. It really helped me develop a love and appreciation for sports design and for small scale business’.

Some of my favorite projects that I had a hand in was creating the logo for a ‘Linsanity’ night, as the player Jeremy Lin had played for Erie and then moved up to the New York Knicks, where he became very popular. I also helped create the artwork and t-shirt for the teams 5 year anniversary.

Another one of my favorite projects was a game program for a game that was put on during the day for local school children. I included games, fun basketball facts and nutritional information on the inside. Something about it sparked a joy in making tangible things for others that I still carry to this day.
